Observe Here A Lifestyle Portrait In The Wild...
I’ve had the pleasure of working with Seema on several occasions, including creating a high-volume, portrait photo library in an awesome Brooklyn location.
Since that session, she has consistently created informative and inspiring content by using her branded photos to complement her thought leadership on brand building and business strategy.
Here's a recent example:
Although this is just one post, Seema uses this text-on-image formula on a consistent basis. This particular portrait photo really works because her eyes are directing people’s attention to the text.
Another cool aspect to this post is that she cropped the image tighter than the original shot intended and focused only on a portion of her face.
To get a better sense of what I mean, here’s the original portrait photo:
Although I already do a fair amount of resizing and cropping to the branded portraits I deliver to clients, once those images are in their hands, I encourage them to get creative and do some further work to enhance the image to compliment the sentiment behind the text.
Have you incorporated text directly onto a portrait photo?
Not sure how to do it?
Also, do you have other questions related to branded lifestyle portraits that you'd like answered?
