[TESTIMONIAL] "His expertise (is) reflected in the quality of the photographs."
When looking for a branding photographer who is the right fit for you, it’s important to qualify beyond the portfolio and the price tag.
Specifically, it’s important to focus on their shoot planning process, and how that process resonates with you.
For some, hiring a photographer with a good eye and allowing them to wing it is acceptable.
For many experts who speak, coach and train, that’s too risky a proposition.
After all, when the goal is to produce photos that foster a perception of authority in the eyes of those they serve, crossing your fingers and hoping for the best is simply not good enough.
This is why before any client sets foot in front of my camera, there is an obnoxious level of strategy that occurs beforehand.
From high-level to the granular, everything is addressed. All of it matters when looking to present yourself in a genuine light and positioned as an expert.
Here is what one of my clients, Susan Fitzell, had to say about our planning process:
“Working with John DeMato was a truly remarkable experience.
His meticulous approach to planning the session was evident from the start.
He invested time to understand my goals and the image I wanted to project, tailoring the photoshoot to suit my website and social media needs. His choice of location was thoughtful, ensuring a variety of backdrops to suit different themes.
His guidance on what to bring, from the number of outfits to the selection of jewelry, was invaluable. Thanks to our comprehensive pre-photoshoot strategy call, he was well-prepared and ensured I was, too.
The results were nothing short of amazing.
The photos were not only stunning but also versatile, catering to various needs—from creating impactful memes to serving as the hero image on my website and showcasing me in action.
His keen eye for detail and consideration of all angles during the shoot resulted in a collection of photos perfectly aligned with my professional image. His expertise and dedication are reflected in the quality of the photographs.
I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome and the overall experience.”
Thank you, Susan - you were magical in front of the camera. And thank you for being open to the process - it made all the difference in your image portfolio :)
