[TESTIMONIAL] "John is a real guy, no bs."
One key ingredient to the success of a branding session is working with a photographer whose coaching style behind the camera and personality resonates with you.
This alignment creates rapport, which translates to you being comfortable and open enough to be fully present, drop your guard and be genuine in front of the camera.
Regardless if the photographer is an amazing creator, if there is no rapport, you will not get maximum value for your investment because the discomfort will be written all over your face in every shot.
And those photos will end up in the trash.
Fortunately, this was not the case during a recent session with Paul Caffrey. I met him at a speaker mastermind on a Monday, and, during a conversation over dinner that night, the rapport was evident and we decided to put something on the books before he flew home.
So, that Friday, we did.
When you know, you know, right?
Here is what Paul had to say about our collaboration together:
“John is not a photographer, he is a passionate artist committed to capturing your essence.
I was not planning to get new shots, but lucky for me I got to see John speak and sample his work.
If you're serious about your career and branding is required, you've got to work with John.
As a professional speaker, I focus on preparation, sales & elite performance. John took the time to speak with me in-advance to understand this. He then arranged the perfect setting and shot list so we made the most of our shoot together.
John is a real guy, no bs. He is funny and a joy to work with. He tells it like it is AND coaches you through the session. I learned how to pose better ("turtle, turtle") and got an insight into what makes a good shot great.
The photos that John took are on another level and I'm seeing increased engagement on social media & look forward to what they will do for my website. The photos have also brought my speaker page to another level.
I highly recommend working with John, it is worth the investment and I'll definitely book John again.”
Thank you, Paul - working with you was as awesome as your Irish accent :)
