The secret sauce for creating a successful portrait session?
The secret sauce for creating a successful portrait session?
Vibing with photographer beyond the work itself.
I have talked many times about the importance of qualifying your photographer beyond the portfolio and price tag.
You want to be comfortable, present and engaged during a session, and the best way for that to happen is if you’re spending time with a photographer who can inspire these feelings out of you while they’re capturing flattering, yet powerful imagery that you can leverage throughout your digital footprint.
I sat down to chat with my colleague, client and badass business owner, Pia Silva, and we talked about what the atmosphere was like when we worked together:
The words she used to describe the way I communicate with her was music to my ears, :)
Does this mean the way I work will work for everyone?
Absolutely not.
And the qualification process goes both ways.
But, if you’re thinking, “hmmm, that John DeMato might be the type of photographer I’m looking for!” then schedule a call with me and let’s see if we’re a fit to work together.
There’s only one way to find out, :)
PS - For those of you who aren’t in the know, I mail out these blogs 3x a week, and lemme tell you, they’re a real party, so, if you’d like to get in on this, sign up for it here and I’ll throw in a free gift for you, because I care, :)
