The image content posting struggle is real!

“Sometimes I stress all day about what to post, then throw something up because I feel like I have to post every day.”

I can’t tell you how many people I’ve heard repeat this sentiment to me during strategy calls with my thought leader and entrepreneur clients.

Truth be told, it’s also something that I’ve heard in my own head very loudly and very clearly.

Tell me if this situation resonates with you:

  • At some point in the early morning, I would grab my phone with the intention of posting to social...
  • I’d open up Facebook or Instagram…
  • Head straight to the post section…
  • Stare at the blinking cursor for about a minute, and completely blank out…
  • Remember what I had to do that day, and go do that…
  • Revisit Facebook or Instagram about 2 hours later…
  • Reconnect  with the blinking cursor for another couple minutes, and just stare blankly until I…
  • Remember that I had an errand to run, so, I’d close up shop and go do that...
  • Come back again to Facebook or Instagram a couple hours later…
  • Only to curse loudly at the blinking cursor that, at this point, is laughing at me…
  • So I shut it down, take a walk to get some ideas, but then, I remember that other thing I had to do that day…
  • And, before I know it, it’s time for bed and, I’m scrambling because I haven’t posted a damn thing all day…
  • So, I grab a random photo from my phone, throw it up with no hashtags, no caption, no nothing…
  • And, I go to sleep feeling like shit because I just half-assed the entire process.

This scenario illustrates many YEARS of my social posting habits, and, yeah, I cringe as I think back to that time, but, it’s important to point out to you that this challenge you have with figuring out what types of image content to post is not yours alone.

The good news is that posting valuable content that informs, entertains and inspires can all be learned.

It took the advice and council from my branding and marketing colleagues to reiterate the importance of creating a consistent, social media presence in order to build a personal brand and gain the visibility I wanted for my business.

I was amazed at how they not only posted consistently, but, they were way ahead in terms of scheduling posts weeks, if not months, in advance.  They achieved this enviable position by conditioning themselves to create on a constant basis.

And talking to them about their process opened my eyes.

As a direct result of this education, I became much more focused on creating systems in my mind that would help generate content ideas from all walks of my life, so, that I no longer would find myself sweating bullets staring at a damn caption screen!

And I haven’t looked back since, :)

Currently, I post new social content every single day, giving myself the opportunity to be discovered by new people all the time - and, I am!

I want to present you with that same creative spark given to me so that you can get unstuck with creating awesome and valuable content.

So, I created a one-on-one, idea generation program to address this very issue.

It’s called the Idea Nugget Incubator program.

During this program, you will learn not only how to generate ideas for stories you want to share with your tribe, but create the systems in your mind that helps rewire the way you think about content creation, providing you with the ability to convert all aspects of your life and business into shareable stories that will deeply resonate with those who need your help the most.

In addition, I’ll also teach you how to visually punctuate these stories by selecting the right photos to enhance the sentiment of the lesson provided in your caption.

PS - For those of you who aren’t in the know, I mail out these blogs 3x a week, and lemme tell you, they’re a real party, so, if you’d like to get in on this, sign up for it here and I’ll throw in a free gift for you, because I care, :)
