[TESTIMONIAL] "He genuinely cares..."

Personalities come in all shapes and sizes.

The way one expresses aspects of their personality, especially when in front of a camera, also varies from person-to-person.

For some, their default is more reserved, offering subtle changes to their facial expression and body language, which is great because they are staying true to who they are and not putting on a show.

For others, they identify with being more demonstrative in the way they express who they are and how they’re feeling, which is also great since that is how they roll.

And then, there’s Jeff Gibbard.

To call him an “expression machine” quite possibly might not be doing him justice.

Regardless of the label, oh man, the display of all his shades of personality and emotions he evoked in front of the camera was a joy to keep up with, I can tell you that much :)

Recently, I went down to Philly to play in the sandbox with him for a half-day to create a new image portfolio that he can use to update all of his visual marketing and promotional assets.

While we had a full plate of photos to capture, the day flew by so fast, the next thing I knew, I was back on the Amtrak editing all of these expressive portraits.

But during the session, I brought along a videographer colleague, Kareem, to capture some behind the scenes footage of the magic that was happening.

And then, Jeff was kind enough to share some thoughts on our collaboration to update his image portfolio.

Thanks, Jeff, for being a magical human being and sharing your take on the work we created together. I look forward to seeing you put these photos out into the world.
