It’s about working with those with whom your comfy, :)

I was at an event not too long ago, I took part in a conversation with a couple colleagues.

One of my colleagues friend’s was sharing with me her recent nightmare portrait session where the photographer was unsure of what to capture for her. Dumbfounded, she asked the photographer to “do what you normally do.”

Apparently, that meant to shoot all kinds of experimental-type images - and by experimental, I really mean not usable.

Ugh.

Unfortunately, this happens a lot within the speaker and author communities - not because there aren’t good photographers that serve these folks, but because the vetting process is completely sped through or ignored entirely.

In the following video, I share some of the same thoughts that I shared with my colleagues’ friend the moment she was done sharing her crappy portrait session experience.

Take a listen.
