Come fly with me...
One of the most interesting aspects of working with experts is the diversity in how they serve their audiences.
Keynotes. Online courses. Books. Workshops. Training. Consulting. Coaching. Online communities.
When you share image content that shows your audience how you help solve their problems, that gives them the ability to visualize what it’s like to work with you, and how you’re going to help them get past what’s holding them back.
In addition to these foundational images, another added layer of portraits that are valuable to capture is to show your audience other aspects of your life.
These photos help round out your visual story and paint a broader view of who you are.
During a recent branded lifestyle portrait session with Jason Harris, we captured photos of all of the primary ways he serves his clients:
Workshops
1:1 conversations
Virtual
During his pre-session strategy call, Jason revealed that he not only speaks and coaches, but he also is a commercial airline pilot, as well.
That’s an interesting wrinkle that ties directly into his NO FAIL TRUST mantra, and the images can be used to create relevant and compelling content that draws people into his world.
But, rather than photograph him wearing his uniform at home, we decided that it would make more sense to capture them in the environment in which he wears it…
Once we captured all the other promotional and lifestyle photos on the shot sheet in his home, we made our way to Denver Int’l. Airport to create those photos.
Now, I don’t know if you’ve been in an airport recently, but there’s a lot of moving parts to account for in that space when shooting. It can be quite a pain in the ass.
Regardless, we zipped and zagged around the different floors to identify ideal locations for his photos, and did our best to stay out of the way of people running to catch their flights!
After a quick 30-minutes, we got the job done.
In addition to these photos being used across his online presence, he also can leverage them for his speaker one-sheet, as well.
A valuable addition to his image portfolio! :)
