Photos create a fair advantage

When looking to create attention from those who need you most…

…leverage your photos in a way that creates a fair advantage.

Whether you’re a speaker, author, consultant, or other expert-business owner, you already know that there are 9 million other experts who share your space.

As a photographer who serves experts, I run into the same challenge.

But despite the crowded landscape, all hope is not lost.

Not by a long-shot.

Why?

Because there are ways to stand out, attract attention and create a clear distinction from those other experts.

One of the ways is by sharing your methodology and approach to solving their problems through the words and stories you share in your online content.

Another way is by attaching high-quality photos to those stories and insights.

But not just any high-quality photos - photos that clearly define who you are, who you serve, what problems you solve, how you solve them and why you do what you do.

Photos that reveal your personality, process, and lifestyle allow your audience an entry point into your life.

They give your audience the chance to qualify your personality through your facial expression and body language displayed in the images.

They also offer them a chance to visualize what working with you looks like, which goes a long way to leading to an opportunity for them to experience that visualization in real life.

With regards to aesthetics, including lighting, composition and framing of the shots, the more flattering and compelling the image, the more likely it will catch someone’s eye long enough for them to stop the scroll, click on the image, read the story in the caption, and follow through on the call-to-action.

And, if you consistently share revealing, flattering and aesthetically-pleasing images, this process will continuously repeat itself, thus, creating a flow of people looking to learn more about how you can help solve their problem.

By consistently sharing high-quality photos, you’ll generate a buzz around your work, put a face to your name, and when combined with your insightful stories and teachable moments in the copy, position yourself as an authority in your space of expertise.

This will inevitably create a fair advantage from other experts in your space and allow you the chance to stand apart from the others...

Simply by being yourself in words and visuals.

Is it a commitment?

Sure is.

But, the work is worth it over time…

…and if you don’t do it, someone else in your space will, and you’ll lose all the 50/50 business that’s up for grabs.

The choice, ultimately, is yours.
