As a young business owner, I had a horrible poker face. 

Throughout every stage of the conversation, the level of desperation I had in terms of converting them from an interested prospect into a paying client was written all over my face and every syllable I spoke. 

Ugh, I know.

But when you don’t understand how to effectively communicate your value by making it about those you serve, then that’s what happens.
