What are your interesting quirks?

What are the quirks and interesting nuances of your day-to-day life?

For speaker and author, Jeff Gibbard, it’s keeping his hands busy with objects like foldable blocks and fidget spinners throughout his day.

During our strategy call, when asked about items essential to his workflow, he didn't just mention the usual tablets, laptops, and phones – he talked about his fidgeting toys.

Since they play a big part in his daily routine, I suggested he bring them to our session to capture photos of him using these objects.

After we wrapped up the main promotional and lifestyle photoshoot, he reached for his fidget toys, and we captured several candid shots of him using them.

These objects act as a visual representation of Jeff’s energy and creativity. By including them, we give his audience a peek into his process, showing a side of him that isn't just about polished keynote speeches or invaluable training sessions, but also the little details that make him who he is.

These photos offer 3 distinct ways to enhance Jeff's online presence:

1. Social Media Content: Use these photos to showcase a more personal side of Jeff on platforms like LinkedIn and Instagram. They add a touch of authenticity and personality that audiences appreciate in their feeds. Instead of showing the same posed shots, these casual images capture a more playful and relatable side.

2. Website Personalization: Integrate these images into the "About" section of his website to make the page feel more welcoming. Showing his fidget toys adds a unique element to his story, making him relatable and genuine. It becomes easier for visitors to see beyond his professional persona and connect with the person behind the brand.

3. Visual Storytelling in Blogs: Include these photos in blog posts or articles to illustrate his creative process. They can serve as visual punctuation that brings life to written content, adding a deeper layer of authenticity. These images, integrated into articles about innovation, productivity, or any other topic Jeff speaks on, add a personal touch that enhances his message.

When you share the unique wrinkles and nuances of your everyday life, you humanize yourself to those you serve.

This glimpse into your world lets people see beyond the superhero, transformative work you do, making you more relatable.

So, what are the quirks and nuances in your life that you can share with your audience to connect on a deeper level?
