Before you fall in love...

When it comes to branding sessions for experts, it’s important to not fall in love with areas in the space before you're actually in the space.

What do I mean by that?

You see, it's common to get caught up in the beautiful images of the location you see online, and then, that inspires you to visualize how you see yourself in it.

But here's the thing – those photos often don't account for one big thing…people filling up the space.

Imagine you've already done all the mental gymnastics to place yourself in different areas of the space - a headshot over there would be nice, maybe sit at that table and work on the laptop, and conduct a 1:1 consultation with a “client” on the couch in the corner.

Fast-forward to the day of the shoot, and as the space fills up with people, that perfect corner you had your eye on or cool booth with the fancy light fixture is no longer available.

But, hey, this isn’t the end of the world! In fact, it's an opportunity in disguise.

This is where the magic of having a good relationship with your photographer comes in.

Sure, your first choice spot might be off the table, but that doesn't mean you can’t find another spot that's just as effective, if not better.

A professional photographer with a keen eye and a deep understanding of who you are can quickly adapt and find new, unique spots that still compliment your personality and brand.

A branding session is all about capturing your essence and how you solve problems, so, instead of fixating on a specific shot or location, focus on the essence of what you need to convey.

Your photographer will translate that into compelling, visual storytelling, no matter where in the space you end up shooting.

Keep an open mind and be flexible. Walk into that branding session ready to explore and adapt.

You and your photographer can create high-quality images that not only showcase your brand but also have your unique flair that sets you apart.

Remember, It’s not just about a location, it’s about how you and your brand come to life within any space.

It’s magical when that happens :)
