[TESTIMONIAL] "...he expertly used the space"

When it comes to your branding session, not all spaces are created equal.

Every location, whether a private space (home or office) or public space (hotel or co-working area) contains a set of certain variables that your photographer must work with in order to create the types of photos that ideally capture your personality and position you as an authority.

For private spaces, you have more leeway in terms of adjusting what’s present in the room without much issue, provided it’s not locked in place or 9000 pounds. There’s some wiggle room connected to that option.

When it’s a public space, like the co-working area I used for Kristin’s 60-minute branding session recently, you’re at the mercy of whatever the space provides.

And those variables change minute-by-minute, because there’s other people in the area to work around.

The key is to have a well-defined strategy in place before you show up to the space.

This roadmap helps to hyper-focus the effort to identify the nooks and crannies of the space that work to capture the list of photos on the shot sheet and minimize time wasted working around the challenges the space provides.

Even if you only have an hour to do it!

Here’s what Kristin had to say about her experience:

“I was in need of some updated headshots and signed up through my NSA chapter to work with John DeMato.

Wow!

Not only was I impressed by his expertise and guidance on our Zoom call prior to the photoshoot, I also left the call feeling prepared to maximize our hour together.

On “game day,” John was efficient, professional, and walked me through the entire process all while making it fun and building quick rapport to put me at ease.

Watching him work was inspiring as he expertly used the space and lighting to create magical moments.

John was a delight to work with and provided headshots and valuable images to be used in my social media kit.

I’m officially in the John DeMato fan club!”

I’m in the Kristin Bock fan club, how about that! :)
