Here’s the thing about Stock Photography…

Stock photos are an attractive solution to your image content needs…

but it might not be the best solution for you.

As a business owner, you are constantly confronted with a variety of challenges.

Rather than freak out, crawl up into the fetal position and assume time will cure everything, it’s up to you to meet those challenges head on with solutions that get you past those speed bumps in your way of progress.

One of the challenges that you face involves the image content that you leverage across your entire online presence.

Ehh, but I hate my picture being taken.

I just need something now and I don’t want to spend the money.

I have a deadline and I don’t feel ready to be in front of the camera.

I’ll just buy some stock photography and that’ll be good enough.

Does this sound familiar?

Stock photography is an extremely attractive solution for many speakers, authors and other expert-based business owners because it’s a solution that simply requires you throw money at it.

The photos, in most cases, are clean, pretty and parallel the sentiment that you’re trying to convey to your audience with them.

They plug the visual holes in your online presence.

But are they the best solution for you and your business?

I talk about this more in the following video:

Keep this conversation in mind the next time that you feel the itch to visit a stock photo site.

Emotional connection is so important to create with your photos - it might be best to leave the job to images that actually have you in them.
