What's the YES AND to your mastermind?
What’s the YES AND to your mastermind?
Represent it in your images.
Over the past few years, I’ve had the unique opportunity to be in the room where true magic was happening.
I’m talking about multi-day masterminds.
A table full of experts in their own right being doused with a fire hose of valuable information to help them improve their lives and businesses in one way, shape, form or flavor.
Selfishly, I find myself walking away with a valuable nugget or two from the experience, as well :)
The obvious common denominator when photographing these experiences is the facilitation itself - the instructor leading the way, participants taking notes, asking questions, and discussion happening amongst the group.
But, that’s not the only commonalities amongst mastermind events.
There’s always a YES AND to the facilitation.
What do I mean by that?
What are the other scheduled group activities outside of the core work while everyone is together?
Breakfast? Dinner? Excursion into the city in which the mastermind is hosted? Networking events? Cocktail party?
Whatever else is on the agenda, make sure that your photographer is also capturing candid images of these moments, as well.
For example, during a recent 2-day mastermind with real estate agents, my client, Phil, scheduled a dinner after Day 1 was in the books.
I tagged along and caught some of the various moments that occurred before the food was served:
By capturing moments like these outside of the facilitation itself, this offers a two-fold benefit:
First, it gives you the opportunity to integrate these images into the marketing materials for your next mastermind. They offer potential participants a chance to see a more well-rounded look into what this experience looks like and what they can expect once they sign up.
And two, these photos can be given to each participant. They can either leverage them as valuable visual assets for their own business online content or simply to hold onto as a visual keepsake of a transformative experience.
In either case, these photos have inherent value, and since you’ll have a photographer on hand to capture the training itself, make sure they also capture a sprinkle of your YES AND activities attached to it.
Speaking of having a photographer on hand…
If you have an upcoming mastermind and are in need of one that understands which moments and activities are essential to capture to create a comprehensive, high-quality image portfolio, I’m here to help.
