Show them what it looks like
Working on adding a product or service offering?
Then look to a photographer to capture the visual assets you need to support the marketing of that new thing.
As an expert, your business is constantly evolving, which manifests itself in new:
Workshops
Online courses
Consulting opportunities
Masterminds
Books
Online communities
And more…
It’s an exciting time when adding new ways that you can help solve the problems of those you serve. But it also is an extremely busy time, as well.
With new products and service offerings comes new products and services to market.
And with new products and services to market, that means you need new visual assets to support that marketing.
So how do you figure out what new images you need?
Give your audience a chance to visualize what it’s like for them to work with this new product or service.
If it’s a workshop, masterclass or mastermind, show them what it’s like to sit in the room and learn from you in that environment.
A new online course? Create image assets that show them what they’ll see on the screen the moment they sign up.
Consulting? Offer candid lifestyle portraits that capture this back and forth exchange, whether on a screen or in person.
Wrote a new book? Allow them a chance to preview the book in their hands through their eyes with compelling photos of chapter titles, section headers, illustrations and workbook sections.
Just launched an online community? Show them what this learning space looks, from the way you facilitate to how many other folks will be in the Zoom room, so it becomes familiar and helps them set expectations.
Don’t just tell them how amazing this new offer will change their business and lives - SHOW THEM how the sausage is made.
When they can visualize taking part in these new ways of learning to get past what’s holding them back, it helps speed up their decision-making process from simply thinking about it to offering their credit card information in the signup form.
The moment that you put wheels in motion to push out a new tentacle of your business, be mindful that, along with that decision comes a need to create marketing assets that supports this push.
Screaming from the mountaintops about how amazing this product or service is one thing…
…giving them the visuals to support this claim is quite another.
The assets you provide could make the difference in them choosing you over another expert in your space. And there’s only one way to find out :)
