Spaces and places that matter most

Recently, I had the opportunity to photograph my friend, Phil Jones’ office space upstate in Hudson, NY.

The goal?

To capture the warm, inviting, and welcoming atmosphere that defines the EWTS working environment.

From the versatile common spaces and offices to the recording studio and artwork on the walls, the goal was to shoot every nook and cranny of the space to create a compelling and comprehensive visual story.

But why are these photos so important?

Your workspace is not just where you conduct business; it's an extension of your brand and a reflection of the environment you create for your team, clients, and colleagues.

It’s one thing to tell people how welcoming and professional your space is—it’s another to show them the details that back up that claim.

Why It Matters:

1. Branded Materials with a Personal Touch

High-quality, detailed images of your workspace add a personalized touch to your brand. These visuals can be used across various marketing materials, making your content more impactful and helping to build a stronger connection with your audience.

2. A Wealth of Visual Assets

The photos you take aren't just for social media. They serve as valuable assets for your marketing and design teams, allowing them to create a consistent visual narrative across your entire online presence, from your website to printed materials. This helps in reinforcing your brand identity..

3. Setting Expectations

Do you have a place where you meet with your team, clients, and colleagues? Is it the base of your operations? What does it look like? By sharing photos of your workspace, you’re inviting your audience into your world, giving them a glimpse of what to expect when they work with you. This not only builds trust but also makes them feel more at ease even before they step through the door based on the familiarity they feel after viewing the photos.

The next time you're thinking about your visual storytelling strategy, don't forget to include photos of the spaces where the magic happens. It’s an easy yet powerful way to add value, build trust, and connect with the people you serve.
