[TESTIMONIAL] "John delivers magic!"

When you’re giving a presentation, the last thing you want is to feel distracted by the presence of a photographer.

The moment you notice the camera is the moment you start to perform, rather than focusing on the audience in front of you. Your job as a speaker is to connect with the people in the room, to meet their needs—not to worry about whether the camera is capturing your “good” side.

That’s why having a photographer who stays in the shadows is so important.

You want someone who can move around the room without being seen, so you can focus entirely on your message. The photographer’s role is to capture a plethora of images that illustrate the energy of the event, the passion you have for delivering your message, the engagement of the participants, and the moments that matter most…

…all while staying invisible.

Recently, I had the opportunity to capture a keynote delivered by Neelu Kaur to a local company. The room was small, with about 75 employees seated, which meant I didn’t have much space to maneuver.

Regardless, I was able to duck, kneel, and find angles that allowed me to capture a variety of images while remaining incognito.

Here’s what Neelu had to say about the experience:

“John was the invisible architect orchestrating a collage of images aligned with my brand.
He was everywhere and yet nowhere so that I could focus on my audience without being distracted.

Prior to my session, John and I connected to discuss what my hopes were for the images, and I couldn't be happier! He provided a quick turnaround so that I could share the pics with my client for their internal marketing efforts.

John delivers magic!”
