“I don’t know if you remember Telly Monster from Sesame Street, but this shoe reminds me of him. Usually, my opinion on kicks like this is that this is too much furriness going on, but, the constrast between the gold, purple and metallic silver just drew me in.
When I photographed the shoe and the sunlight was directly hitting it, I saw all of these tiny mellatic flecks get lit up in a way that I’ve never noticed before. That reaffirmed my confidence in adding these to the collection.
I mean, you can never get enough metallic in your kicks, right?”
